In February 2021, Asian Transmission Corporation (ATC), Mitsubishi Motors Corporation's automobile component production plant in the Philippines, donated hand-washing facility to Majada-In Elementary School in Calamba City, Laguna Province, as part of the efforts to contain COVID-19. Majada-In Elementary School had requested the facility to ATC, because its hand-washing facility was small and old, and ATC decided to donate it. ATC has been regularly donating school supplies to local schools.

We went ahead with this donation despite the ongoing infection risk of COVID-19, because we thought that it was a good opportunity to renovate old hand-washing facilities. We are pleased that we could be of help to people and having sense of fulfillment from this donation. However, the schools is still closed at present. We hope that the pupils will come back to the school and use the facilities as soon as possible.
