Error Codes
1101, 2101:Cannot Register
- Power switch is not in ACC position.
- Vehicle is communicating with another smartphone.
- 10 minutes have elapsed in registration mode.
- Wrong password entered.
- Vehicle Out of Range.
- Smartphone OS automatically limits communication with the vehicle.
- Register again from the beginning.
- Confirm your SSID and password on the registration information card. If you do not have the registration information card, you can get the SSID and password at an Authorized Mitsubishi Dealership. (It is necessary to contact your nearby Authorized Mitsubishi Dealership in advance.)
- To register a second device, ensure the app is existed on the first device if the first device is nearby.
- If you still cannot register, please follow the given steps and register again.
1102, 2102:Registration Error
- The VIN number could not be reviewed from the vehicle.
1103, 2103:Registration error
- The maximum number of device registrations (2 devices) has exceeded.
- Please cancel the registration on the registered device, or register again after performing the vehicle side registration initialization as per the Registration initialization procedure.
1104, 2104:No security update
- Security update has not been finished on your vehicle.
- Please contact the nearest Authorized Mitsubishi Dealership to implement the service campaign to improve the security of MITSUBISHI Remote Control. Our authorized dealership will hand out a new password (14 digits) after updating the security.
After obtaining 14 digits password, please register again.
1201, 2201:Communication failure
- Vehicle is not in the communication range.
- Power switch is not OFF.
- Other smart phone is communicating with the vehicle.
- The vehicle suspends communication to prevent the 12V battery from losing charge.
- When you connect your smartphone to the Smartphone Link Display Audio System.
- Smartphone OS automatically limits communication with the vehicle.
- Check if communication is possible near the vehicle.
- If 'Settings' > 'Wireless LAN communication Settings' > 'Always Communicate' = OFF, check that the power switch of vehicle is OFF.
- Check if the SSID of the vehicle is displayed in the smartphone's OS "Settings" > "Wi-Fi". If not displayed, follow STEP5 of the given steps. If you still cannot communicate, please follow the given steps and register again.
1301, 2301:Passcode error
- Enter the correct passcode.
If you cannot remember the correct passcode, follow the given steps and register again.
