In May 2021, Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (MMTh), the largest plant in the MMC group and an export hub to more than 120 countries, donated 10 tons of cardboard to SCG Packaging Public Company Limited and SCG Foundation, which are Thailand-based package manufactures, for making paper beds for use in hospitals and medical centers as part of MMTh's activities to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The paper beds are 100-percent recycled and have been ergonomically designed. The beds are also lightweight, easy to transport and store, and can be assembled in just eight minutes.

In addition, MMTh donated a total of 2,600 packs of drinking water and a total of 4,800 N95 masks to six hospitals in order to support and safeguard the health and safety of medical workers.

MMTh remains committed to contribute to sustainable development of Thailand with a focus on three pillars including Environment, Health, and Education and Morality.
