During November and December 2020, PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI), our sales distributor in Indonesia, donated 30 sets of online learning facilities (such as personal computers, printers, projectors, and internet data plans for 1 year), face masks, daily clothes, books, children's toys, and other basic needs to 10 orphanages in and around Jakarta.
MMKSI contributes to orphans and runs the MMKSI's CSR Children Program (MCP). In this program, its employees act as foster parents for a day, taking part in activities that put them in touch with children. For this fiscal year, the first MCP event has been changed to a donation program in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, which was made in the form of donating online learning facilities to orphanages to support the children put in difficult learning situations due to the pandemic.
"Every child has the same right to get an adequate education. However, in this pandemic period, where learning activities are carried out online, children in need, especially those living in orphanages, has many limitations. We hope that through this donation, it will be easier for children to get education and learn from various existing literacy sources," said Naoya Nakamura, President Director of MMKSI.
MMKSI will continue to work on the MCP to realize a bright future for all children in Indonesia.

Our school was closed after the declaration of the state of emergency due to the pandemic, and it was very difficult for me to continue learning as I didn’t have a PC or a smartphone.
